Bricco dei Guazzi

A few miles from Casale Monferrato, lies the small village of Olivola. It is a municipality that has little more than a hundred inhabitants, and a wonderful view on vineyards perched on the Monferrato hills.

Just outside the village, stands Villa Candiani-Guazzo, once a stately home and nowadays the residence of Bricco dei Guazzi.

The Company stands on top of a hill, “Bric” in local dialect, and is surrounded by thirty acres of vineyards, that produce the grapes used for the wine production of the company. Against the backdrop of vineyards, behind the centuries-old cedar tree which is the symbol of the Company, stands the Monte Rosa.

Villa Candiani Guazzo, the heart of the Company, was recently restored and currently houses the “Ai Cedri” restaurant and the “La Presidenta” Wine Resort. In the building behind the Villa are the cellars of the Company, which were completely renovated in 2004, the place where the Bricco dei Guazzi wines take shape.
